Children of Bali, UK

The main objective of Children of Bali is to provide financial aid to children in Bali to help children in Bali to complete school education. To support children with their education all the way, from junior to senior school and beyond and maybe university education too. To sponsor them through their schooling giving them a good start in their lives. To support them with pens, books and other essentials. The charity concentrates mainly on children who have lost one or both parents, and looking specifically at schools with the greatest needs.

Bali Bridges

Today there are 13,000 orphans in Bali. In the light of the many demands on Indonesia’s social relief programs after the Tsunami and other disasters the Indonesian Government has reduced provision of financial contributions to many community support organizations. One of these is the Widhya Asih Foundation in Bali, who since 1975 has established seven orphanages that today aims to feed, shelter and educate 700 children in Bali. As a result of this cut in funding the Widhya Asih Foundation is in serious need of funding support. Bali Bridges was set up in 2006 with two aims, to raise funds for the Widhya Asih Foundation for critical initiatives that impact the livelihood of the children and secondly to provide a unique and strong platform of cultural exchange and friendships between the orphans and the students and their families at United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA).

The humanitarian efforts of Dewi Saraswati includes the following :
> 40 destitute children living under bad conditions get an education
> 30 neglected children and orphans are looked after with love of their 4 foster mothers
> 100 Adivasi Children are given meals and a good education
> 4 Balwadis (pre-schools) are built and conducted in four Adivasi hamlets.
> 200 children of surrounding poor villages are given education.

High 5 Rehab

High 5 is a non-profit organization with the aim of aiding the disabled and the poor in Bali, especially children, with rehabilitation by physiotherapy and to transmit knowledge to stimulate independency; and all further means, that are in any way connected or conductive to this. The foundation tries to achieve her goals by starting up, managing and maintaining a physiotherapy rehabilitation and physiotherapy education centre in Indonesia.

Crisis Care Bali

Crisis Care Foundation has been operating for nine years now and started in a small room behind a restaurant in the village of Candi Dasa on the east coast of Bali. What started off as a first aid box has now grown into a busy clinic in the village of Kaliasem new Lovina. The clinic now has a full time Balinese Doctor, a mid wife, and welfare works.

The John Fawcett Foundation

The John Fawcett Foundation and its Indonesian counterpart, the Yayasan Kemanusiaan Indonesia, is a humanitarian foundation which assists needy people in Indonesia, particularly those with medical problems. It offers its assistance to people in the lower socio-economic group free of charge and without religious, political or ethnic consideration.

Yudisthira is a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation dedicated to reducing the number of unhealthy and neglected street dogs living in Bali, Indonesia.

Bali Animal Welfare Association

The Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA) is a not-for-profit charity registered in Indonesia. Their aim is to relieve suffering, control the population and improve the health of Bali's street dogs.... through medical care, spay/neutering, street-feeding, puppy adoption and education of school children.
